Southern Technologies is a family owned and operated corporation located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The company has been providing products and product support services to Class I railroads in North America for over 50 years. Additionally, the company provides products to heavy haul operators in South America, Africa, and Australia.
Our product lines include:
Wayside Inspection Systems – Hot Bearing, Hot Wheel, Dragging Equipment and Over Dimensional Load Detectors.
Wayside Asset Tracking Systems – S-9203A compliant AEI Reader Systems and S-9203B compliant AEI Integrated Defect Detectors.
Wayside Condition Monitoring Systems – High Water Detectors, Landslide Detectors, DTMF Switch Monitors, Remote Wind and Temperature Monitors.
RFID Systems and Accessories – STC is an authorized stocking distributor of Transcore RFID readers and AEI tags used in the rail marketplace.
